We are a family-run restaurant specialising in wholesome, home-cooked seafood and Australian cuisine using local, fresh ingredients. We cater for light meals to a la carte, weddings, functions and high teas. No function is too small.

Our scrumptious high teas are loaded with delightful mini cakes and savouries — all made here at The Orangery by our experienced chefs. Got a gluten intolerance? No worries, we’ve got you or your guest covered with a delicious range of gluten-free food baked on the premise. Join us for a delicious morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea for six days a week and a superb breakfast on weekends.

The setting:

The Orangery Maleny has been built in a traditional Queenslander style, where breezy verandas and big open spaces create a feeling of lightness in a relaxed setting. In fact, when we first came here we were inspired by the beautiful openness and windows. It reminded us of a glass house and being in the Glasshouse Mountains, the name The Orangery was born!

Group bookings:

We love functions, parties and weddings! Our multi-purpose Function Centre caters for groups of up to 80 sit-down and 90 for cocktails. Dishes are inspired by our wonderful location. Let our team of friendly experienced staff help you create a menu to suit your event and help you choose wines and beverages to match. Group menus can be tailored for small or large groups to suit all styles and budgets.
