Owner of Patten Earthmoving, Rob leads his team with more than 25 years of experience in the civil construction, road maintenance and vegetation management industries. This means he knows exactly what’s needed to get a job done quickly, safely, and within budget. He has excavated subdivisions, laid pipes, completed road works, bridges, deep excavation, and bulk earthworks. Rob has dug sewers across the Coast for Kawana Estates such as Minyama and Mooloolah Islands which involved identifying risks such as trench collapse, and high risk ground conditions.

In the commercial and domestic building industries, he has experience in footings, earthworks and landscaping. He has done trenching and excavacting jobs for DickyBeach Streetscape and Golden Beach Streetscape, one of few contractors who could carry out trenching and excavating around live services such as fibre optic and water mains. Rob also constructed the Sunshine Coast Council’s Coastal Walk. He diversified into vegetation management services working for the Landsborough Depot providing services such as mulching and boom- slashing overgrown road verges.
